Elysian Hold Features :

1. An immense fortress called Elysian Hold that is a single building with various graduating levels at different elevations rising up to a huge central domed tower. Just one of the tiers holds a garden terrace. The entire fortress from above forms an imperfect chunky clover shape with smooth curved walls of stone.

2. Stairways connect each upper level tier.

3. The central tower is domed. The outer walls have large deep welled windows.

4. There are gates and entrance ways into the fortress from the north and south.

5. The fortress is surrounded by a broad patio.

6. The patio is likewise surrounded by a broad green lawn dotted with large shade trees.

7. A ring of twelve, large, Circular botanical gardens surround the lawn, each garden connected by a path.

8. In one of botanical gardens are naturally vine woven cradles radiating around the garden like spokes on a wheel with one baby cradle to each radial, a patio making the hub at the center of each garden. More cradles could be added to each radiant. The cradles are on the outer rim of the circle by the garden edge, and when more are added plenty of space would be left between them. At the moment there are only twelve cradles with twelve more already half grown in a second garden in readiness of more children being born in and more still were sprouting in a third garden.

9. Each botanical garden nursery has the space to accommodate one-hundred and twenty infants, that was twelve radials each with ten cradles at capacity.

10. Off each garden is a path leading to an adjoining garden that could become a nursery by the growth of cradles. Each botanical garden also had a path which led to the grounds encircling the fortress.

11. Not all of the gardens are nurseries or nurseries in growth stages. Some are apothecary gardens, others for sheer enjoyment and wonderful places for children for play. One might even be a botanical maze.

12. Lastly the entire grounds, fortress and gardens are surrounded by a lush rainforest.

Altruian Creation

Altruian Companions

The host has the power to summon one of these people from itself as a symbiotic companion. Altruian are a species of people who can take many forms and choose that form according to what will make the host most comfortable and content. They can also alter their form to suit changes in their host from growth or evolution. These people have free will, intelligence and are emotional beings with souls. Kindness, being friendly and compassionate is at the root of their nature.

Altruian bond with the host at birth which occurs out of a conduit that opens in the host which the Altruian emerge from even as they take shape from their spirit form.

Altruian are sustained by their bond to their host but do take nourishment from traditional foods. But if their bond to their host is severed by frequent mistreatment they will perish and be reabsorbed by their host. When this happens it's a matter of weeks or months before they can be recalled.

Only a single Altruian can be summoned at a time by a host.

Altruian blood reflects their host's needs as blood type preferred by vampires and blood type needed if a non vampire host is wounded.

Their blood regenerates as quickly as it is lost so they do not die from blood loss. They must be beheaded or their body destroyed to kill them and when they die their spirit is reabsorbed by their host whereas they can be recalled in a few weeks, if treated well, a few months if treated poorly, years if abuse is extreme.

Altruian are a living lesson in treating friends, family and those you rely on well.

Altruian are born able to speak in various relevant languages, have basic survival and common skills, and are knowledgeable about the worlds applicable to them. They are also born with the innate ability to transfer their blood to another, chiefly their host if they are too weak to feed or are wounded. Altruian also do not age but rather control how old they appear in whatever form they assume.

⭐ First Elora imbued each host with a nuance of the forces of creation she commanded, and she imbeded that force deep inside of them, then breathed powerful motes of life into them. The life motes she combined with the innate creation and infused with spectral energy from her soul granting the motes a soul which meant the Altruian would have free will. Will was spirit and spirit was will.

⭐ That done she imprinted what was to be Altruian innate biological imperatives upon the motes with a command string that included languages and key information about Morashtar and the netherworlds, a plethora of important skills, knowledge about their abilities and the importance of being happy, patient and content in their roles as independent but bonded individuals.

⭐ The symbiosis between host and Altruian were to rely heavily on the bonds between them and those bonds relied on them being well treated, appreciated and provided for well enough to keep them healthy in body, mind and spirit. The vampire hosts could even bond them as thralls but it was unnecessary.

⭐ The Altruian would be sustained chiefly BY their bond with their host thus if mistreated for too long they would perish, their embodiments absorbing back into the host where they would remain dormant for weeks or even months at a time before they could be called to life again. Food also sustained Altruian but if that bond should be severed by abuse nothing short of reestablishing and nourishing that bond could save them.

⭐ The Altruian would be 'born' that was to say emerge from their host via a conduit of creation as a complete being shaped by each host's personality and needs, and it would happen when the host needed blood or companionship fairly urgently.

⭐ Altruian Gender relied on what kind of companion their vampire would desire.

⭐ Once the Altruian came into being it remained until he, she or they perished.

⭐ Altruian could be killed but not by blood loss, and were absorbed back into the host on death. The host could then 'recall' them when they hungered or were lonely again.

⭐ As mentioned Altruian could not perish from blood loss. They produced and regenerated blood rapidly as it was lost.

⭐ To kill an Altruian they had to be beheaded or their body be completely destroyed. Altruian could also perform blood transfer innately if a vampire was too weak to feed conventionally, or if a wounded host needed blood.

⭐ Only one Altruian at a time could be created from each host and as a child host grew or an adult host's needs changed the Altruian could reshape itself to adapt to those needs.

⭐ For example; If a vampire was born requiring the blood of say birds, mortals, immortals, a specific race, even other vampires, the Altruian would be born with the blood of that species or race. If the vampire evolved somehow to need the blood of a seraph for instance the Altruian could even adopt that divine blood and or even that form.

⭐ Altruian were not just shapeshifters they were embodiment shifters.

⭐ Endowing adults with Altruian creation took a lot more out of of Elora than offering such a precious gift to young children.

⭐ If the drain on Elora was too much, she had to draw upon the essences of life around her to sustain her own health. She drew it from plants around her whereby spectral looking vapors flowed into her from all around in subtle ribbons of pure life energy. A lawn she fed from would lose its vibrant green lushness and turn into a hot summer's golden lawn, while some of the trees in a nearby forest wilted, but the grass and trees would still be alive and recover with the next rain.

⭐ Elora would not drink life from creatures, though she could, only from the abundant plants and she wouldn't kill the verdure given a choice, only borrow from them. Children would take a lot less energy to endow but there were so many of them that she would need to drink quite a lot of spiritous.

⭐ Elora also decided to grant that wonderful gift to all of the children, vampiric or not. She didn't want those not born as vampires to feel left out. It would be feelings of loneliness, a need for companionship that would compel the births of Altruian from hosts that weren't vampiric, and it was loyal companionship they would provide.
