Sophia's mother was a Darkstar Wenmaru named Dannelora, a second generation Arcanon called Archosa whose father was the Arcanon Aeros Nystori. Female Archosa were called Wenmaru (Dark Star Matriarchs). Archosa were immortal people of both human and elven descent of the Planet Dark Star. Dannelora was conceived on Earth by Aeros and her mother Aalis, a French woman. Like Sophia Dannelora was born mortal (from human line) and had to undergo an immortal transition upon death. Wenmaru could only conceive children out of other Dark Star of the same subrace line, or with the Arcanon. Mogduain, or Anduain. Every Archosa had a surname out of the line they were born from. Dannelora's last name was Aerostad. This aided both in preventing inbreeding and strengthening lines.

Sophia's father Sean Henri Defleur fell in love with Dannelora and married her one month after meeting and courting her. Sophia was born nine months after they wed, conceived on their wedding night. Sophia became a great believer in love and Romance gruwing up with a mother and father so desperately in love with each other, but only days after Sophia turned sixteen, her mother went out to cut flowers as she often did for the dinner table and disappeared, never to return. Her father Jean Henri, whose real name was Belial, was beside himself with heartbreak and his dear daughter did everything she could to sooth him. Henri remained a dutiful and loving father, seeing Sophia grow into a woman and having children of her own with the Anduain Eoghan O'Dalaigh.

Eoghan and Sophia had an instant and powerful attraction but despite this Eoghan wooed her as the proper lady she was. Their courtship was brief nevertheless as they had found true love in one another, the kind of love Sophia had always dreamed of, and married only a few short months after meeting. They soon had a son Azor and fourteen months later another son Rene. When Rene turned fourteen they decided to try for a daughter (Eoghan could make that happen unknown to Sophia). Eoghan was called away though under the pretense of buying horses when in fact he had to go meet a great immortal threat to him and his family in battle, a Tuathan God of Death named Balor. Balor had been deceived into believing Eoghan was his enemy by an actually prophecy that had been leaked to him that told of the Anduain being the bane and doom of death, but it was Acheron the misleading prophecy truly indicated. Balor intended not to kill Eoghan though, but to capture and subjugate him, make him his slave. The plan worked and Eoghan was drawn away from Sophia by Balor so that THE angel of Death Azriael could lay with Sophia and plant his child in her. For seven nights he went to Sophia's bed, rousing her from sleep with amorous and blissful seductions and made glorious tryst with her even though he had made a child with her on the first night. When Eoghan returned two weeks later bringing with him a pair of fine Percherons for breeding no less, Sophia was already round with child.

Eoghan was shocked needless to say to find Sophia not only with another man's child but so far along. He'd have stayed with her nevertheless but for the voices which filled his head as he gazed on his wife, searching for what had happened inside of her. Sophia watched as he turned pale as a ghost, the fierce struggle within him written all over his face followed by the saddest look she had ever seen on him. "I'm so sorry, Sophia," he said to her with the greatest regret and turned to walk away.

Sophia was shattered. She believed he left her because she had been unfaithful. She didn't understand that she had been raped by an angel who had used powers of seduction over her she could not have resisted. His touch had dominated her and the pleasures he had ravished her with nearly as incredible as those her husband could induce, but darker and a product of a devil's lust instead of love, though a part of the angel of death did love her because he had made her the mother of his child.

Sophia did not see her husband again for seven-hundred and fifty years. During that time she had never divorced Eoghan, never remarried. Loneliness did find her in the arms of a lovely man but just the once. She saw him for one month but felt nothing but guilt and had not laid with another ever since. She had felt like she was cheating on her husband, despite him leaving her as he had. Sophia focused on her children who she raised up as a single mother and sent off to college while she worked her vineyard with her few and trusted staff. The horses she bred and took a very active role in raising and training with her professional trainer Gustov were gorgeous animals she often rented out to movie studios. Eoghan had chosen her stock incredibly well. No finer percherons could be found.

Life for Sophia was lonely but good for many years until Desiree went off to London to attend the Royal College of Art which her talents had gotten her açcepted with a full scholarship to. Sophia had been so proud. But that turn in her daughter's life signaled the beginnings of Armageddon on Earth. The immortals which had remained hidden by a covenant called the Black Veil all throughout the ages began to intentionally expose themselves due mostly to the fact that organizations of vampire and demon hunters had grown into a great threat through various technologies they had developed partially with the help of one particular genius who was forcibly sired by vampires. With the vampires and even a few demons stepping out into the light the slayer organizations, one particularly powerful one called FoG (Federation of Governments) declared war of the far superior immortals. Superior but humans had developed weapons that combatted immortal superiority by rending their supernatural capabilities making them equal to humans in power. The war escalated into a nuclear Holocaust which the vampires in the end not in only survived but were victorious in. Sophia.however with many others was removed from earth on the eve of the bombings, transferred across vast marches of space to a strange new pristine world as nuclear war heads rained down in earth. Sophia had found herself alone on a pretty pebble strewn road within a wilderness of trees so massive she'd never imagined the likes of them. By a very intentional fluke in time Sophia had advent that world hundreds of years after her daughter and sons, held in a stasis she was utterly unaware of.
